while i was waiting for my take-away at charcoal chicken in st. kilda the news came on featuring elizabeth taylor’s estate auction.  the announcer said that the item bringing the highest bid was a van gogh landscape that sold for $16 million u.s.  the chicken man looked at me, back at the tv, back at me and said “that’s a lotta chicken”.
