greetings-

hope you are all well and enjoying the last of the indian summer where ever you may be.  i’m in nashville sipping on a black iced coffee from whole foods.  don’t want any milk in there messing up my buzzzzzz.  rocket fuel!  what do they put in the coffee here?  never drink more than one cup at a time of whole foods iced coffee. trust me on that. my hope is, the caffeine will jump start me back into the proper time zone for my location.  we’ll see.  most likely it will just make me talk more and faster than usual. this does not bode well for my friends neilson and dan.  after coffee, i will head off to the mr. lemons studio to begin rehearsals with the fantastical neilson hubbard and the super secret weapon dan mitchell.  that’s the band - neilson, dan and me.  on this tour, i am very lucky to have two good friends who are also very talented musicians supporting us.  mando saenz will be there for the first 7 shows and then we will have hannah schneider coming to us from denmark on the rest of the shows.  hannah and her guitar player andreas will join us for some of our set turning our threeo into a massive 5 piece.  woo hoo.  i’m very excited and hope to see you out at a show.  the new record, “wreck your wheels” came out on the 14th of sept. and is getting good press.  that makes me happy.  we will have copies for sale at the show or you can get it on amazon or itunes or quite possibly at your favorite independent record store.  or………..here kim richey.  oh, you can listen to the songs here as well.  on the video front - we are almost finished.  thanks so very much to all of you that sent in pictures.  i have only seen a few but, they’re fantastic.  i can’t wait to see the video.  ok.  here are the tour dates.  i need to wrap this up.  i’m already late for rehearsal.  see you soon.
